The Opportunity

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making processes run smoothly? Join our team as a Finance Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accuracy across billing, invoicing, financial reporting, and voucher payments. In this position, you’ll also assist with data entry, manage starts, and handle IFPO authorizations—all while contributing to efficient workflows that keep our business moving forward.

 

NOTE: This is a 6-month contract position that offers full benefits. Based on the needs of the business can turn into a permanent position with career progression. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare bills, invoices, statements, and vouchers for payment
  • Assist with data entry and IFPO authorizations
  • Update price sheets, GMAs, and KB Pricing for new costs and changes
  • Maintain monthly actuals for sales, starts, and closings
  • Distribute internal control checklists and quarterly representation letters
  • Prepare variance analyses and weekly inventory pricing
  • Generate reports including Rainbow Report, Weekly Tracker, and Standing Inventory
  • Release lots and input related lot premiums as needed
  • Input lot and address details for new communities and sections
  • Support quarterly updates and business plans with accurate data
  • Review and code architecture billing and invoices daily
  • Prepare fixed cost variance reports and monthly financial reports
  • Analyze VCBL data weekly and assist with ad hoc projects

What You Bring

  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year bookkeeping experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • A/P experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Strong math and reading skills required
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have an understanding of bookkeeping principles

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. 
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to move about work location.
  • Ability to drive/travel throughout the designated area to construction sites as needed.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.
  • Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio).   
  • Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales).
  • Maintain a professional and ethical conduct to reinforce company goodwill and profitability.
  • Position located at the Division Office. #LI-onsite.
